Humboldt Women's Raincoat | Trout Rainwear

Design

Trout raincoats were designed with torrential downpours in mind. Generous and effective hoods provide full protection, while sleeves have been lengthened to keep hands dry, too. Each pocket was created to keep valuables in reach and as dry as possible, and seams have been shifted to allow for maximum comfort and freedom of movement. Besides loving the feel of your jacket, you'll look so good in the rain that you may want to hang out there a little longer than necessary!

Fabric

The primary fabric used in each Trout raincoat is a luxurious 60/40 double-faced cotton and polyurethane blend. We chose this cloth because its polyurethane structure allows for high water repellency, as observed in the way the water beads off the jacket. Meanwhile, the cotton’s natural breathability allows moisture to transfer throughout the garment, ensuring optimal comfort regardless of the weather.

Tape

Each seam of a Trout raincoat has been sealed with a premium polyurethane seam tape that has been applied with heat and bonded to the fabric. In addition to adding visual appeal to the jacket, the malleable structure of the tape adds durability without sacrificing comfort, and best of all creates a completely waterproof seal around each seam.
